Consider me officially shocked

I was left astounded during my stay. The friendly staff made for a pleasant experience, but I couldn’t believe the discomfort caused by the room size and shared facilities. A lack of privacy and space made the price feel unaffordable despite the location’s charm. Beware of potential bedbug issues as well!

We had a wonderful stay, loved the clean rooms and the helpful staff who guided us around the city. The kids enjoyed the nearby parks and attractions, which made our family trip enjoyable. The location was ideal for exploring Amsterdam, with easy tram access.

In my wife’s opinion, the shared facilities could be improved for families with kids.

A surprising night in Amsterdam

Woke up to delicious croissants daily, making breakfast a highlight. The friendly staff always greeted us with smiles! The location was perfect, just steps away from the tram stop.

Unfortunately, the room felt cramped and there were noise disturbances from the other guests above us, which made it hard to sleep peacefully at night.

Flipper is located in a quiet area close to tram and metro stops, making it convenient for exploring the city. The staff were friendly and efficient in assisting with my business needs, notably helping me set up my presentation equipment. The bed was exceptionally soft, and the water pressure in the shower was excellent, ensuring a refreshing start to the day.

I also noticed the stairs were narrow, making it tough to carry my luggage. Vending machines were hit-or-miss. one didn't give me my snack. Overall, the stay had its pros and cons. It's a good budget option, but improvements could make it great.

Had a great trip with friends! The beds were comfy, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Close to public transport, making it easy to visit the Van Gogh Museum and check out the local markets. A perfect spot for groups wanting to explore the city!
